Can anyone use the Instagram DM tool yet?

Not yet. Meta (the company behind Instagram) has to approve apps before they can send automated messages for the public. gruubi is waiting on that approval, so the DM tool isn't open to every account. Cross-posting is coming soon.

Does TikTok post automatically?

No, not yet. TikTok receives your video as a draft. You open the TikTok app, add or paste the caption, and post it yourself. Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts publish directly.

What happens after my free allowance?

Nothing gets charged. Where the DM tool is available, you get 1,000 sent DMs each calendar month. Once you've used them, new replies are skipped until the 1st of next month. There are no overage fees. Cross-posting is coming soon.

What's the founding offer?

First 100 paying creators: $9.99/month or $99/year. Keep your founding price while your subscription stays active. A spot is claimed only after payment succeeds. Paid plans open once Meta approves Instagram automations for everyone. If you cancel and rejoin later, the founding price doesn't come back automatically.

The higher-volume plan is $19.99/month or $199.90/year for up to 3 accounts sharing 150,000 sent DMs a month. At any limit, new replies pause until the 1st of next month — no overage fees.

Can I connect more than one Instagram account?

What does gruubi actually do?

gruubi can send an Instagram DM you've written when someone leaves a comment you've chosen (once Meta approves it). Cross-posting videos to other apps is coming soon.

Does it edit or change my video?

No. Your video is published exactly as you uploaded it. We never re-encode it for effect, add watermarks or overlay our branding.

What counts as one post?

One uploaded video is one post, no matter how many platforms you publish it to. Publishing to all three counts as a single post against your monthly allowance.

What if one platform fails?

The others still publish. A post only counts toward your allowance once at least one app succeeds, and trying the failed one again doesn't count as another post.

How long do you keep my video?

Only as long as publishing needs it. After publishing, the file is set to be removed (the target is about 10 minutes). If an app failed, it's kept for up to about 24 hours so you can try again, and unpublished drafts are set to expire after about 72 hours. Please keep your own copy.

Is this a backup for my videos?

No, and it shouldn't be. Keep your own copy. We keep your captions, titles, tags and published links in your history forever, but the video file itself is temporary by design.

Why does Instagram need a professional account?

Instagram's publishing API only works with professional Creator or Business accounts. Personal accounts cannot be published to by any third-party app. Switching is free inside the Instagram app.

Why might TikTok posts be private?

Accepted Answer

TikTok requires apps to pass an audit before they can post publicly on a creator's behalf. Until that audit is complete, TikTok may restrict posts made through the API to a private audience. We always tell you which mode is active rather than pretending a post went public.

Why might YouTube uploads be private?

Unverified YouTube API projects can only create private uploads, and each project has a daily upload capacity. If we're at capacity we tell you clearly, and your Instagram and TikTok posts are unaffected.

Do you ask for my social media passwords?

Never. You connect accounts through each platform's official authorisation screen, and you can disconnect at any time from Settings.

Do you use my videos to train AI?

No. Your content is not used for unrelated model training, is never publicly browsable, and is never used in our marketing without your permission.

Not yet. Version one focuses on making immediate publishing genuinely reliable. We won't advertise scheduling until it actually exists.
